0.30 Carat Round diamond

A carat is the international unit used to measure the weight of a diamond or gemstone. One carat is equal to 200 milligrams, or 0.2 grams. This means a 5ct diamond will weigh 1 gram.

K coloured diamonds certificated by GIA are slightly tinted diamonds, which will hold a very slight taint of yellow or brown even if set in jewellery. {0} K coloured diamonds are recommended for customers who prefer the warmer colours or who would like to maximize the size of their diamond.

SI1 graded diamonds certificated by GIA will generally have one medium or a few smaller inclusions. The inclusion(s) will often be very hard to spot but may be visible to the unaided eye and tend to be easily located using a 10x magnification loupe. SI1 clarity diamonds are a very popular choice as they offer a substantial discount in price in comparison to VS2 clarity and in many cases offering an eye clean diamond.

Good cut diamonds are cut to reflect most of a diamond’s brightness, fire and scintillation.The non-expert eye is unlikely to see a major difference between an Excellent cut and a Good cut diamond, as they will both sparkle brightly. However, a Good cut diamond will not reflect as much light as the Excellent cut diamond, and therefore typically does not command the same premium. The choice of cut must be balanced with other factors such as carat weight, colour and clarity.
